The DIB Agent, would like to inform all depositors of the Tanzania International Branch (TIB) that the review process in respect of submitted claims continues to progress steadily. A satisfactory number of TIB depositor claims have already been reviewed and recommended by the DIB Agent and accepted by the DIB for payment.
In order to proceed with the relevant payments, the DIB Agent requires the funding by the DIB, which remains pending, in light of the FinCEN restrictions. The DIB Agent works closely with the DIB and the relevant authorities to find an acceptable solution for funding the payments outstanding.
In the meantime, TIB depositors are kindly advised to provide the DIB Agent with all the information that is currently pending, so that upon receipt of the funds from the DIB, the payment of the accepted claims can be executed in accordance with the applicable procedures and governing framework.
The TIB depositors will be updated with the developments and on this perspective, both the DIB Agent and the DIB, seek the depositors’ support and understanding’.
